ACTIV System Dermo – Roller Dermo Roller is a professional device for microneedle mesotherapy, which is one of the alternatives to laser procedures and plastic surgery, as well as deep chemical peels. It is an innovative method of skin regeneration and renewal. The ACTIV Dermo Roller is a roller covered with thin titanium micro-needles, 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm in length, which create about 250,000 micro-punctures in the skin within 5 minutes. As they are made of titanium rather than surgical steel, the needles are extremely thin, like a human hair, which allows them to penetrate the skin with ease. The precision of the titanium needle manufacturing guarantees safety and comfort during the procedure. Each roller head contains 192 TITANIUM needles.

The Derma Roller creates microscopic channels in the skin, i.e. micro-injuries, which increase the production of collagen and elastin, so the skin ages more slowly. Because the outer skin layers are microperforated, active ingredients reach much deeper than during everyday cosmetic use. When active ingredients are applied to the skin, only 0.03% to 3% of the substance is transported into the skin. When using the derma roller, active ingredients are absorbed 3000% more. Skin stimulation is gentle, so the skin's regenerating cells and blood vessels remain undamaged. Please remember that each roller must be sterile-sealed so that each client can see before the procedure that the roller used has not been used by anyone else. After the very first procedure your skin will be firmer and stronger. With intensive therapy a firmer and younger-looking skin can be achieved. The effect is fully visible after 24 hours. The number of procedures needed for maximum effect depends on the individual condition of the skin.

Procedures should be performed after numbing with Emla cream, depending on the client's sensations. Account must be taken of possible pinpoint bleeding on the skin surface and scab formation. After each procedure the roller must be rinsed under running water and disinfected, and before the procedure the roller must also be disinfected, e.g. with an AHD product. The procedure may be performed with physiological saline.
