PolyGel System

PolyGel System – 20 products from €7. This hybrid material combines the best of two systems: it is thick like acrylic, so it won't run off the form and holds its shape, but it only cures in the lamp like a gel, so you can work without rushing. Unlike acrylic, PolyGel has no strong odour and doesn't need to be mixed with monomer. In practice, this means you can calmly sculpt the material for several minutes, and if you make a mistake, simply correct it, because it won't start to harden on its own. You work with a spatula and a brush dipped in a special liquid.

How to use

Squeeze out a bead of the required size from the tube, transfer it with a spatula onto the form or the nail and spread it with a brush moistened with slip solution. Without this liquid, the product will stick to the brush. Do not use water – it alters the structure of the material.

Who it's for

Beginners who find the pace of acrylic too fast, and anyone bothered by the smell of monomer. It is also handy for corrections – the material bonds well with the previous layer.

What you need besides PolyGel itself

Slip solution, a spatula with a brush, forms and a lamp. A base coat is needed for adhesion and a top coat for final protection.
