Why you need a trolley

A trolley solves a simple problem: your products need to be within arm's reach, but not on the work surface. A well-organised workstation means you never have to get up during a treatment.

Drawers or open shelves

Open shelves are cheaper and quicker to use, but they gather dust, which matters if you work with an e-file and do a lot of filing. Drawers protect the contents and look tidier, so they usually suit salons better.

Stability

If the trolley is going to hold equipment such as a lamp, a steamer or an e-file unit, look at the width of the base and the quality of the wheels. A narrow, tall trolley with a heavy machine on top tips over easily. Wheels with brakes are a necessity, not an optional extra.

Cleaning

Choose smooth surfaces without texture, so they can be wiped down with disinfectant solution in a few seconds between clients.
