Cleansers & Removers

Cleansers and removers – 18 products from €0.50. These serve three different purposes that are easy to mix up. A dehydrator/degreaser is used before application – it removes oils from the nail plate, without which the polish will adhere poorly. A cleanser (cleaner) wipes off the sticky layer after curing and is used for cleaning brushes. A remover is designed to take off old product – it is stronger and is applied on cotton wool wrapped in foil. The catalogue also includes cotton pads, foil pieces and cotton-lined wraps that speed up the removal process.

How to remove product correctly

Break the surface of the polish with a file or e-file – while the top coat is intact, the remover will not get through. Place cotton wool soaked in remover on the nail, wrap it in foil and wait 10–15 minutes. The product should soften and be gently pushed off with a pusher, not peeled away. Peeling also takes off a layer of the natural nail.

Degreasing before application

This is the step that, when skipped, causes polish to lift the earliest. The nail should be wiped with a lint-free wipe and then not touched with your fingers again.

Brush care

Use the cleanser to clean brushes after working with gel. Acetone hardens synthetic bristles, so it is best avoided.
