Working with an e-file produces fine dust that the nail technician breathes in all day long. Built-in extraction is the only way to capture it at the source – a separate dust collector standing on the table helps far less.

Extraction power

Look at the motor power and the filter type. A weak fan simply blows the dust to the side. The filter needs to be replaced or cleaned regularly – a clogged filter reduces suction to nothing, even though the motor keeps humming.

Dimensions and height

The table height should suit your chair: when seated, your elbows should be level with the tabletop. A table that is too high raises your shoulders and, after a few hours, takes its toll on your neck.

Storage for your products

The most practical models have drawers for polishes and a separate compartment for equipment. Think about how many polishes you own – a gel polish collection grows quickly, and there is never enough drawer space.
