Glitters and powders for nail art – 113 products from €0.60. It's the quickest way to turn a simple manicure into something special: a single accent nail is enough. The catalogue includes loose glitters in various sizes, chrome powders for a mirror effect, aurora and unicorn pigments for a pearlescent finish, and holographic powders. Loose glitters are sprinkled onto uncured gel or top coat, while powders are rubbed in with an applicator or a finger onto a matt no-wipe layer. In both cases the result must be sealed with a top coat, otherwise the effect wears off within a few days.

Chrome and mirror effect

A mirror effect requires a matt no-wipe top coat – on a glossy or tacky surface the powder simply won't stick and will stay dull. The pigment is rubbed in with a silicone applicator or a finger until the surface starts to reflect. Then a thin layer of top coat is applied, without pressing the brush down, so you don't scratch the finish.

Loose glitters

Fine glitters are sprinkled onto an uncured colour layer and give an even sparkle. Chunkier ones look better as a gradient – sprinkled only from the free edge. To keep the surface smooth, you need two layers of top coat over the glitter.

Aurora and holographic pigments

Aurora pigments shift in shade depending on the angle of the light and look most striking over a dark base. Holographic pigments split light into a spectrum, so they work best over a black or navy base.
