Why you need one

Working with an e-file produces very fine dust from gel, acrylic and natural nail. It doesn't settle straight away – it stays in the air and, over a shift, ends up in the technician's airways. A dust collector captures most of it right at the source, which makes it more effective than any mask.

Desktop and built-in models

Desktop models sit on the table in front of the client and suit workstations that stay in one place. Built-in models are recessed into the table surface – they stay out of the way, but require a table with a cut-out.

Filters

The filter needs to be cleaned or replaced regularly. A clogged filter has weak suction, so the unit runs but does almost no good.
