The Dermo Roller ACTIV is a roller covered with fine titanium micro-needles, 0.25mm to 2.0mm in length, which perform around 250,000 micro-punctures in the skin in 5 minutes. Because they are made of titanium rather than surgical steel, the needles are extremely thin, like a human hair, so they penetrate the skin effectively.
