ACTIV System Dermo – Roller Dermo Roller is a professional microneedling device for mesotherapy, one of the alternatives to laser procedures and plastic surgery, as well as deep chemical peels. It is an innovative method of skin regeneration and renewal. Dermo Roller ACTIV is a roller covered with fine stainless steel micro-needles, 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm in length, which create almost 250 thousand micro-punctures in the skin in 5 minutes. Each roller head is fitted with 540 steel needles.

The Derma Roller creates microscopic channels in the skin, called micro-injuries, stimulating increased production of collagen and elastin, so the skin ages more slowly. Thanks to micro-perfusion of the outer skin layers, active ingredients penetrate much deeper than with everyday cosmetic application. When active substances are applied to the skin alone, only 0.03% to 3% of the substance is transported. After using the derma roller, active substances are absorbed 3000% more. Skin stimulation is gentle, so the skin's reproductive cells and capillaries remain undamaged. Remember that each roller should be sealed sterile so that each client can see before the procedure that the roller used for their treatment has never been used by anyone. Good to know! Every, even the smallest, micro-injury to the epidermis activates the skin's natural regeneration processes. With age, the skin's self-repair ability weakens, which is noticeable e.g. in wounds that heal more slowly. Systematic micro-perfusion of the epidermis is a safe form of skin stimulation that promotes its regeneration and consequently increases skin density. Already after the first procedure your skin will be firmer and stronger. With intensive therapy, more elastic and younger-looking skin can be achieved. The full effect is visible after 24 hours. The number of procedures needed for maximum effect depends on the individual condition of the skin.

Procedures should be carried out under the anaesthetic cream Emla, according to the client's sensation. Some pinpoint bleeding and redness should be expected. After each procedure the roller should be rinsed under running water and disinfected, and before the procedure the roller should also be disinfected, e.g. using AHD. The procedure can be performed with physiological saline.
