ACTIV System Dermo – Roller The Dermo Roller is a professional microneedling device, one of the alternatives to laser procedures and plastic surgery, as well as to deep chemical peels. It is an innovative method of skin regeneration and renewal. The ACTIV Dermo Roller is a roller covered with fine titanium micro-needles, 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm in length, which make almost 250,000 micro-punctures in the skin in 5 minutes. Because they are made of titanium rather than surgical steel, they are extremely thin, like a human hair, and therefore penetrate the skin effectively. The precision of the titanium needles guarantees safety and comfort during the procedure. The head of each roller is fitted with 192 TITANIUM needles. The Derma Roller creates microscopic channels in the skin, known as micro-injuries, which increase collagen and elastin production, so the skin ages more slowly. Thanks to micro-perforation of the outer layers of the skin, active ingredients penetrate much deeper than in everyday cosmetic application. When a product is applied to the skin, only 0.03% to 3% of the substance enters the skin. After using the derma roller, active ingredients are absorbed up to 3000% more. Skin stimulation is very gentle, so the skin's reproductive cells and capillaries remain undamaged. Please remember that each roller must be kept sealed and sterile, so that before each procedure the client can see that the roller used for the treatment has not been used by anyone else. After each procedure the roller must be rinsed under running water and disinfected, and before the procedure the roller must also be disinfected, for example using AHD. The procedure may be performed over saline solution.
