The Dermo Roller ACTIV is a roller covered with fine titanium micro-needles, 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm in length, which create almost 250 thousand micro-punctures in the skin within 5 minutes. Because they are made of titanium rather than surgical steel, they are extremely fine, as thin as a human hair, and therefore penetrate the skin effectively.
