ACTIV System Dermo – Roller Dermo-Roller is a professional microneedling mesotherapy device, one of the laser procedure and plastic surgery alternatives and deep chemical peel alternatives. It is an innovative method of skin regeneration and renewal. The Dermo Roller ACTIV is a roller covered with fine stainless-steel microneedles, 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm in length, which create almost 250,000 micropunctures in the skin in 5 minutes. Each roller head is fitted with 540 stainless-steel needles.

The derma roller creates microscopic channels in the skin, known as microtraumas, which increase collagen and elastin production, so the skin ages more slowly. Thanks to the micro-perforations, active ingredients penetrate far deeper from the outer skin layers than with everyday cosmetic application. When substances are applied to the skin, only 0.03% to 3% of the substance is normally transported through the skin. After using the derma roller, active ingredients are absorbed up to 3000% more. Skin stimulation is gentle, so the skin's reproductive cells and capillaries remain undamaged. Please note that each roller should be sealed sterile, so that before the procedure each client can see that the roller used for the treatment has not been used in any way. Important to know! Every, even the smallest, damage to the epidermis activates the skin's self-healing processes. With ageing, the skin's self-healing ability weakens, as can be seen, for example, in slower-healing wounds. Systematic microperforation of the epidermis is a safe form of skin stimulation that promotes its regeneration and thereby increases skin density. Already after the first procedure your skin will be firmer and stronger. With intensive therapy, a more elastic and younger-looking skin can be achieved. The full effect is visible after 24 hours. The number of procedures needed for maximum effect depends on the individual condition of the skin.

Procedures should be carried out with a small amount of Emla, according to the client's sensation. Account must be taken of the pinpoint bleeding and crust formation that appear on the skin surface. After each procedure the roller should be rinsed under running water and disinfected, and before the procedure the roller should also be disinfected, for example using AHD. The procedure can be performed on a physiological saline basis.
