ACTIV System Dermo – Roller Dermo Roller is a professional device for micro-needling mesotherapy, one of the alternatives to laser treatments and plastic surgery, as well as deep chemical peels. It is an innovative method of skin regeneration and renewal. Dermo Roller ACTIV is a roller covered with fine stainless steel micro-needles, 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm in length, which perform nearly 250,000 micropunctures on the skin in 5 minutes. Each roller head is fitted with 540 steel needles.

Derma Roller creates microscopic channels on the skin surface, i.e. microtrauma, which increases collagen and elastin production, so the skin ages more slowly. Thanks to microperforation, active substances penetrate the outer skin layers much deeper than during everyday cosmetic application. When substances are applied directly to the skin, only 0.03% to 3% is absorbed. After using the derma roller, active substances are absorbed 3000% more. Skin stimulation is gentle, so the multilayer skin cells and fine blood vessels remain undamaged. Please remember that each roller should be sterile-packed so that each client can verify before the procedure that the roller used was not used on anyone else. With ageing, the skin's ability to heal itself decreases, which is noticeable with slower-healing wounds. Systematic microperforation of the stratum corneum is a safe form of skin stimulation that promotes its regeneration and ultimately increases skin density. Already after the first procedure your skin will be firmer and stronger. With intensive therapy a firmer and younger-looking skin can be achieved. The full effect is visible after 24 hours. The number of procedures needed for maximum effect depends on the individual skin condition.

The procedures should be performed after numbing with Emla cream, according to the client's sensations. Attention must be paid to small drops of blood and worn-out wounds appearing on the skin surface. After each procedure the roller should be rinsed under running water and disinfected, and before the procedure the roller should also be disinfected, e.g. with AHD. The procedure can be performed in physiological saline solution.
