The Fomos Foster 8 L autoclave is professional equipment suited to any beauty salon, nail studio or other place where it is important to keep instruments sterile between treatments. Top-class medical Class B sterilisation guarantees the complete effectiveness and safety of the process, making it easier to maintain high hygiene standards in your practice. The unit is designed to sterilise both medical and non-medical instruments, wrapped and unwrapped, porous, solid, and those with hollows and channels. The device may be operated only by qualified personnel who have the knowledge and appropriate training to operate this type of equipment.

Enhanced for greater functionality

The unit features a control panel with an LED display that lets you select the appropriate programmes or parameters and monitor the progress of the process. The integrated thermal printer allows you to print sterilisation process verification reports containing information such as the cycle date and time and temperature and pressure changes. In addition, the USB port also lets you save sterilisation results in digital form. Integrated tanks for distilled and used water make work much easier. The self-diagnostic system alerts you when an error occurs by displaying relevant messages, e.g. about loss of door seal integrity or sensor faults, which helps reduce the risk of damage to the equipment.

Available sterilisation programmes and tests

The autoclave has the following pre-programmed: 5 sterilisation programmes and 2 test programmes – allowing you to carry out the vacuum test (Vacuum Test) and the B&D-Helix test. It lets you choose parameters to suit your individual needs and the load being prepared, while maintaining complete process safety. You can also adjust the sterilisation and drying time, which makes it easier to adapt the cycle to the type of instruments and the specific packaging.
