The Fomos Foster 12 L autoclave is professional equipment suited to any beauty salon, nail studio and other locations where it is important to ensure the sterility of instruments used during procedures. Autoclave sterilisation using Class B medical-grade equipment guarantees full process effectiveness and safety, making it easier to maintain high hygiene standards in the practice. The unit is designed to sterilise both medical and non-industrial instruments, wrapped and unwrapped, porous, solid, and those with hollows and channels. The unit may only be operated by qualified personnel with the knowledge and appropriate training to use this type of equipment.

Enhanced functionality

The unit is equipped with a control panel with LED display, allowing you to select the appropriate programmes or parameters and continuously monitor the process. The integrated thermal printer lets you print sterilisation process validation documents, which include information such as cycle date and time, and changes in temperature and pressure. In addition, the USB port allows sterilisation results to be saved in digital form. Integrated distilled and used water tanks make work considerably easier. The self-diagnostic system alerts you to errors by displaying relevant messages, for example about loss of door seal tightness or sensor faults, which reduces the risk of equipment damage.

Available sterilisation and test programmes

The autoclave has preset 5 sterilisation programmes and 2 test programmes – allowing tests of: insufficient pressure (Vacuum Test) and B&D-Helix. You can select parameters to suit individual needs and prepared loads, while fully ensuring process safety. It is also possible to adjust sterilisation and drying times, which makes it easier to adapt the cycle to the type of instrument and its specification.
