Purpose:
Designed for collecting solid, hazardous medical waste, e.g. needles, intravenous cannulas, syringes, disposable gloves and similar.
Allows medical waste to be stored, transported and disposed of safely, ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards, as well as mechanical safety, protecting against accidents such as punctures and cuts when discarding sharp waste in medical staff or beauty salon treatment rooms.
Features:
Container made by blow moulding from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), lid with top made from polypropylene (PP).
The lid has a ring-shaped drop-in opening and two openings allowing blades to be separated from handles, needles from syringes and similar.
Dual-function lid allows the container to be closed temporarily or permanently.
Highly resistant to mechanical deformation.
Produced in warning red; other colours (yellow, blue) available to order.
Features a BML-type label with the international biohazard symbol fused in during blow moulding, plus a space where waste data can be written easily, even with a pen.
Resistant to UV radiation, formalin and ethyl alcohol.
Holds a positive opinion from the National Public Health Institute - PZH
Meets standards: ASTM F2132-01 (puncture resistance) and PN-EN ISO 175 (resistance to immersion in liquid chemicals)
