UV/LED Gel Polish Rubber Base "RB Clear Base"

Features:

  • The rubber base in the formula helps to perfectly even out the nail surface, filling in all scratches and fine cracks.
  • Does not run onto the cuticles.
  • Nails coated with this base are strengthened and do not lose their flexibility, reducing the likelihood of nail breakage.
  • The base is perfectly suited for weak, thin, peeling nails.
  • With this base you can minimally extend the nail plate and restore a chipped nail.
  • “RB Cover Base Pink” (pink) and “RB Cover Base Beige” (beige) bases feature a masking shade that hides imperfections of the natural nail and gives a soft, natural colour. These bases are perfectly suited for creating French and Ombre designs.
  • Features a thick consistency.  

Gel polish application process:

  1. Clean, disinfect, push back the cuticles and remove oils with the PREP nail dehydrator.
  2. Lightly prime the nail tips with PRIMER or ULTRABOND. Avoid contact with skin and let dry for 30 seconds. Recommendation: apply sparingly to the nail tips.
  3. Apply the base to the nails and cure under the lamp*. Apply to the thumbs and cure under the lamp*. Recommendation: do not overfile while applying the base.
  4. Apply a thin layer of your chosen polish and cure under the lamp*. Apply a second layer and cure again under the lamp*. Recommendation: pay attention to the nail edges so that a thick layer of polish does not build up on the nail tips; this way the gel polish will last longer.
  5. Apply a thin, smooth layer of „Crystal Top Coat“ gel topcoat to protect the colour. Cure under the lamp*.
  6. When using a sticky „Top‘“ layer, remove it with the „UV Gel Cleanser" nail cleanser. 

For perfect coverage: one layer

Curing:

  • Under an LED lamp 30-60 seconds;
  • Under a UV lamp 120 seconds;

*Curing time depends on the lamp's power (e.g. in a 48W lamp the gel polish sets in just 15 seconds). 

Removing (dissolving) gel polish:

  1. Remove the top layer with a nail file. Recommendation: push back the cuticles before using the file, so the top layer comes off more easily.
  2. Fully soak a wipe with gel polish remover. Place it on the entire nail surface and wrap the fingers in foil so the product does not evaporate and the heat stays inside.
  3. Leave for 10 minutes, then check the condition. Some shades may need more time. If necessary, soak for another 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil from the fingers and gently wipe off the polish with a cuticle pusher or wooden tool. Recommendation: do not use force when removing the polish. Residue can easily be buffed away. 

Dissolving time: 10-15 min
