Gel polish application steps:
- Cleanse, disinfect, push back the cuticles and remove oils with the PREP nail dehydrator.
- Lightly prime the nail tips with PRIMER or ULTRABOND. Avoid contact with the skin and let dry for 30 seconds. Tip: apply sparingly to the nail tips.
- Apply base coat to the nails and cure under the lamp*. Apply to the thumbs and cure under the lamp*. Tip: when applying base coat, do not file.
- Apply a thin layer of your chosen polish and cure under the lamp*. Apply a second layer and cure again under the lamp*. Tip: pay attention to the nail edges so that a thick layer does not form on the nail tips, which helps the gel polish last longer.
- Apply a thin, smooth layer of “Crystal Top Coat” gel top coat to protect the colour. Cure under the lamp*.
- If the top coat is tacky, remove it with the “UV Gel Cleanser” nail cleanser.
For perfect coverage: two layers.
Curing:
- in an LED lamp for 30-60 seconds;
- in a UV lamp for 120 seconds;
*Curing time depends on lamp power (e.g. in a 48W lamp the gel polish sets in just 15 seconds).
Gel polish removal (soaking off):
- Remove the top layer of polish with a file. Tip: push back the cuticles before filing, which makes removing the top layer easier.
- Fully saturate a wipe with gel polish remover. Place on the entire nail surface and wrap the fingers in foil so the product does not evaporate and the heat stays inside.
- Leave for 10 minutes, then check the condition. Some shades may need more time. If needed, soak for another 5 minutes.
- Remove the foil from the fingers and gently wipe off the polish with a cuticle pusher or wooden tool. Tip: do not use force when removing polish. Residue can be easily buffed off.
Soaking time: 10-15 min
