Classic 7 ml gel polishes – the largest part of the collection, with 133 colours from €2.50. These are standard opaque shades with no added effects: from nude and pastel to rich reds, blues and black. The 7 ml bottle is the standard size for home use – it is enough for roughly 25–35 manicures, so you can have a rarer shade without tying up money in a large bottle. The easiest way to choose a colour is to filter by the nine colour families. Each polish is applied over a base coat and sealed with a top coat, then cured in a UV or LED lamp.

How many coats you need

Most classic colours give full coverage in two thin coats. Light pastels and whites may need three – in that case it is better to work over a camouflage cover base, which evens out the nail tone straight away. A thick coat does not cover better, it only takes longer to cure and is more likely to lift at the edges.

How to choose a colour

Coral, peach and warm nude shades suit warm skin undertones, while pink, cherry and blue-grey suit cool ones. For short nails, light colours generally look best; for long nails, rich and dark shades work well.

To make it last longer

Before application, the nail needs to be prepped and degreased, and each coat should be sealed at the free edge. An unsealed edge is the most common reason polish starts to peel from the tips after just a week.
