Gel polish application process:
- Cleanse, disinfect, push back the cuticles and remove oils with the PREP nail dehydrator.
- Lightly prime the nail tips with PRIMER or ULTRABOND. Avoid contact with the skin and let dry for 30 seconds. Recommendation: apply sparingly to the nail tips.
- Apply base coat to the nails and cure under the lamp*. Apply to the thumbs and cure under the lamp*. Recommendation: do not file when applying base coat.
- Apply a thin layer of your chosen colour and cure under the lamp*. Apply a second layer and cure again under the lamp*. Recommendation: pay attention to the nail edges so that a thick layer does not form on the nail tips; this way the gel polish will last longer.
- Apply a thin, smooth layer of „Crystal Top Coat“ to protect the colour. Cure under the lamp*.
- If the „Top‘“ has a tacky layer, remove it with the „UV Gel Cleanser" nail cleanser.
For perfect coverage: two layers.
Curing:
- in an LED lamp for 30-60 seconds;
- in a UV lamp for 120 seconds;
*Curing time depends on the lamp's power (e.g.: in a 48W lamp the gel polish sets in as little as 15 seconds).
Gel polish removal (soaking off):
- Remove the top layer with a file. Recommendation: push back the cuticles before using the file, so the top layer comes off more easily.
- Fully saturate a wipe with gel polish remover. Place it on the entire nail surface and wrap the fingers in foil so the product does not evaporate and the heat stays inside.
- Leave for 10 minutes, then check the condition. Some colours may need more time. If necessary, soak for another 5 minutes.
- Remove the foil from the fingers and gently wipe off the polish with an orange stick or wooden tool. Recommendation: do not use force when removing the polish. Remaining residue can be easily buffed off.
Soaking time: 10-15 min
